2008 Simon Karecki Award Call for Nominations
Background
The Simon Karecki Fellowship Fund (Fund) was created by the Semiconductor Research Corporation (SRC) and the SRC/NSF Center for Environmentally Benign Semiconductor Manufacturing (Center) in memory of Simon Karecki and to encourage other talented young researchers in the pursuit of environmental research. In some years the award will be a cash prize in an amount to be determined by the Advisory Board for the Fund, and in other years the award will be a fellowship, again in an amount to be determined by the Advisory Board. The 2008 award will be a cash prize.
The Fund and competition for awards are managed by the SRC Education Alliance, a subsidiary of the SRC. More information on the Fund may be found on the SRCEA Web site.
